Sarala Mukale, an 18 year old teenage girl was diagnosed with multiple renal and bladder stones-around 15 in each kidney. Incapable of bearing the expensive costs of treatment and care, she turned to Dr Hedgewar Rugnalaya. The hospital made the treatment free of cost which included two major surgeries which otherwise would have cost lakhs of rupees and endangered Shivani's life given the poor financial condition of her family.

Shivnath Kute migrated to Aurangabad to become a daily wage labourer few years ago. He owned a small land plot in Marathwada which didn't produce a good yield due to chronic droughts persistent in the region.

Today he earns Rs. 8 lakh as yield from his plot. This is ten times more than the meagre Rs. 80000 he used to earn earlier.

This was made possible by the Agricultural Extension Programme run by Dr Hedgewar Rugnalaya, which imparted knowledge of advanced farming techniques and soft loans to farmers like Shivnath.
